Job Description:
CATIA Services is looking for Aerospace Composite Stress Analyst Engineers with experience in composite vehicle design, stress analysis, composite repairs, and production manufacturing.
Position is located in California (Southern Region) :
This is a direct hire, permanent position.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with a concentration in a relevant Engineering discipline Duties:
Review stress reports and finite element models developed by Scaled Composites to determine revised margins based on updated vehicle weights and design modifications Compile analysis, reports, models, and margins into standardized formats for upload into client's product data manager.
Key
Responsibilities:
Reviews, updates, and compiles engineering analytical definition of structural components and assemblies based on records from the prototype build project Develops standardized analysis criteria and templates Plays an integral role in the work flow release process for all structural designs Supports review of manufacturing plans and procedures to ensure compliance with design and loads requirements Supports the creation of structural test plans which will be used to verify manufacturing
Qualifications:
Experience in aircraft or spacecraft composite fabrication, design, and analysis processes Knowledge of composites manufacturing and sizing of composite structures using FEA models, including pre and post processing of NASTRAN models and associated sizing of composite structures Minimum 5 years or more of applicable experience in the analysis of structural systems using strength of materials and finite element based methods Experience with free:
body diagrams and classical stress analysis techniques Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and problem:
solving skills Excellent computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience with the design of flight vehicles or vehicle systems to a set of requirements or standards such as CFR 14, Part 400, Part 23 and 25, military or NASA are highly desired Experience with manufacturing:
based ERP systems, such as Oracle, is a plus CATIA Services Human Source:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
