Harvest Evaluator - Paramount Citrus (Delano, CA)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1.
Weekly gives written updated report by ranch and block of the current condition of fruit.
2.
Make projections for volume as well as by percent of sizes and grade.
Designates export grade by percent and by market.
3.
Calculates information into a recommended harvesting sequence.
4.
Works with field department to establish weekly harvest volume by market destination.
5.
Knowledge of citrus fruits, sizes, and grades preferred.
High School diploma or GED equivalent and (2) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
