KLEIN & ASSOCIATES! Job Description Recreation Therapist Must have current certification as a Recreation Therapist by either the California Board of Recreation and Park Certification, Inc.
or the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certifications, Inc.
Under the direction of the Institution's CEO/CMH or designee and or the Facility's CMO or designee, the Recreation Therapist duties/responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following requirements:
Evaluate recreation therapy needs for patient-inmates with particular attention to activities of daily living, communication skills, physical exercise and positive coping strategies.
Maintain CDCR's security policy at all times.
Maintain security of work areas and work materials/equipment at all times.
