This job will require training to learn fire extinguisher services and repairs.
Applicant must be able to communicate and greet our clients in a professional manor.
Pay attention to detail and time management.
Candidate will be trained in fire extinguisher inspections and recharging and hydro-testing fire equipment according to state regulations.
There is a training period in which the employee will learn all proper procedures to disassemble/reassemble a fire extinguisher, recharge equipment and run pressure tests.
Throughout the training period candidate will work under supervision of licensed technicians.
They will be provided the State Guide to study Title 19 and be given practice exams to prepare to take the state exam.
They will be expected to pass the state exam within a 3-4 month period.
Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license and MUST HAVE CLEAN DMV.
Applicant must also be able to pass background check to enter a State or Government facility.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 65lbs.
Must be able to climb a 6-12 foot ladder or climb stairs if the job site requires it.
40 hours weekly.
Hours of employment are Mon thru Fri from 7:
30am to 4:
00pm.
On occasion Applicant must be able to start earlier or work later on some days depending on client jobs.
Exposure to the weather conditions, applicant must be able to work outdoors.
Hot or Cold days.
Mechanically inclined and able to use hand tools and small power tools.
Read and Write English.
Starting Pay $2700 to 2900 a month to TRAIN MUST PASS STATE EXAM in order to determine pay increase.
There will be a review on performance and work ethic which will also determine pay increase.
Medical Insurance is available for the employee at 50% employer paid contribution.
Paid dental, vision, and holidays after 90-day probation completed.
Paid time off after one full year of accrued employment.
