The Help Desk Technician II performs help desk support in resolving hardware and software technical problems for A-C Electric end users.
The Help Desk Technician II demonstrates a broad set of IT technical skills and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
Key
Responsibilities:
Serve as the second point of contact for the Help Desk Technician I person.
Will assist with helpdesk calls, email, or electronic communication in a prompt and courteous manner; prioritizes multiple help desk calls and requests for service; troubleshoots and identifies problems in a timely manner to achieve customer satisfaction.
Must be able to think on your feet and solve an array of computer, software, networking and hardware issues.
Assist with hardware/software support for end users on network, peripheral and mobile devices including minor repairs, configuration and/or replacement of defective peripherals.
Additional Job Duties:
Advanced technical troubleshooting with local and remote users.
Performs routine preventative maintenance on desktop, laptop, peripherals.
Demonstrate ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
Helps manage the company's workstation device management of patches, and hardware replacement.
Assist with the inventory of all the company's computer equipment.
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
Keeps up to date records of changes in equipment in asset management database.
Follow-up and updates customer status and information on a timely basis.
Document and update installation, configuration, deployment and maintenance procedures.
Assist the Network Engineer to maintain LAN/WAN, internet service, hardware, software and communication systems.
Participate in special projects as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Qualifications and Requirements:
Degree in field of computer studies, or relevant experience.
Work experience no less than 3 years supporting technical infrastructure.
Experience in Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Apple iPhones, Apple iPads Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex PC and network problems.
Must have experience with AD, File share access provisioning, Must be familiar with operational aspects of all CPUs, peripheral devices, network and communication equipment.
Must possess solid technical skills.
Must be able to research and resolve problems of a technical nature in a situation where previous experience does not provide a solution.
CompTIA or Microsoft certifications a plus.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a strong focus on results.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent multi-tasker with a proven track record of successful time management.
Strong personal organization skills.
