Under general supervision of the Building Support Manager, performs a variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks in areas such as HVAC, carpentry, electrical, heating, and plumbing.
This position performs upkeep tasks such as repairs and general maintenance.
Responsible for applying basic mechanical fixes to equipment and building systems and ensuring facilities are organized and functional.
Responsibilities:
Ability to maintain/monitor equipment apps on devices & verifying equipment conditions.
Respond to repair and maintenance requests quickly and with a professional manner Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.
Examples may include general construction, automotive, and repairing building fixtures.
Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements At least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license Time management of job duties and workflow.
Operate power and hand tools along with motorized equipment and vehicles Knowledge of general maintenance and repair Prior experience in maintenance or related fields in construction/equipment maintenance Abilities required Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend or crawl in awkward spaces Strong organizational skills, multitasking and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and carry objects 50 lbs.
