ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

General:

  1. Set up and tear down dynamic learning spaces, lifting up to 50 lbs.

  2. Lead check-in activities, guide families, and manage paperwork.

  3. Plan engaging indoor and outdoor activities for students.

  4. Connect with families during interactions.

  5. Escort students to dining halls, covering up to a mile.

  6. Assist with additional tasks as directed.

Instructional:

  1. Deliver curriculum to small classes of around 8 students.

  2. Encourage students to meet curriculum goals.

  3. Enforce safety rules and behavior management techniques.

Health, Safety, and; First-Aid:

  1. Supervise and maintain a safe environment.

  2. Respond to critical incidents and document as required.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual with a passion for knowledge spanning two or more subjects central to the program.
In addition, they must demonstrate flexibility, energy, positivity, leadership abilities, and strong communication skills.
A background working with kids and teens, and/or camp experience is highly recommended.
The ideal candidate would have completed 2
years of college.

Based on work location, candidates may be required to provide proof of vaccinations, including for COVID-19.

PAY

The pay for this position varies by work location:

  1. California:
    $17-$19.
    50/hr

  2. Colorado:
    $18.
    50/hr

  3. New York:
    $16/hr

  4. Seattle:
    $20/hr for day staff, $1,200/week for staff working overnight schedule

  5. Other Washington locations:
    $16.
    50/hr

  6. Other locations:
    To be discussed in interview

  7. This position is eligible for 401(k) once eligibility requirements are met and other benefits as required by state or local law.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
