Required Skills Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, required.
Excellent interpersonal skills required, in addition to being results oriented, creative and self-motivated.
Must possess proficient computer skills utilizing current computer software programs.
Job Description Trained in the design concepts of civil engineering.
Must have a working knowledge of AutoCad 3D software or AutoCad Land Desktop.
Five plus years' experience preferred.
Summary Primary responsibilities include:
o Draft plot plans and perform back-drafting for designers.
o Create drawings for heavy energy construction projects.
o Draft technical details.
o Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures.
o Draw in minute details of structures.
o Consult technical handbooks and tables while in drafting phase.
o Create and store drawings electronically.
o Program drawings into automated manufacturing systems.
o Prepare variations of design.
o Prepare engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications.
o Create designs used in the layout, construction, and operation of oil and gas fields, refineries, chemical plants, and process piping systems.
Key skills and
Experience:
o Trained in drafting principles related to land development.
