We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Gameday Sports Academy.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for athletes, parents, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
This position offers 7-10 hours per week, with potential for growth over time.
The hours are flexible, and some shifts may be in the morning or evening.
RESPONSIBILITIES Greet and welcome all guests, athletes, and parents, ensuring a positive and friendly experience.
Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, providing program information, and resolving concerns promptly.
Register and check-in athletes for classes, camps, and events efficiently.
Handle incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate departments, and taking messages as needed.
Assist with scheduling appointments, classes, and facility reservations for athletes, coaches, and trainers.
Process payments for program fees, merchandise, and other services accurately using the designated system.
Keep the front desk and lobby area clean and organized, including a clean sweep at the beginning and end of each shift.
Monitor facility access to ensure only authorized personnel enter and exit, and enforce safety protocols.
Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages to the appropriate recipients.
Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
Act as a liaison between athletes, parents, coaches, and management, relaying messages and updates as needed.
Maintain accurate records of athlete memberships, program enrollments, and attendance.
Monitor and manage inventory levels of merchandise and office supplies, placing orders when needed.
Assist in promoting special offers, upcoming events, and new programs to encourage enrollment and participation.
Collaborate with the marketing team to distribute promotional materials and support marketing initiatives.
Use computers proficiently to handle various tasks and utilize software for daily operations.
Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
REQUIREMENTS - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or receptionist role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills for handling administrative tasks.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility in working hours, with the ability to cover morning and evening shifts as needed.
