Responsibilities Position
Summary:
Under the direction of the Supervisor is responsible for receiving and processing specimens.
May assume duties of Central Processor while on break or absence.
Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.
Working knowledge of medical terminology.
General typing/computer skills.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
CA Phlebotomy Technician 1 and BLS required.
CA Phlebotomy Technician 2 license must be obtained after completion of 1040 clinical hours.
One year experience in phlebotomy required.
Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.
Working knowledge of medical terminology General typing/ computer skills This position is represented by SEIU United Healthcare Workers.
Pay Range $19.
21 - $24.
67 /hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
