Summary:
PIC Group has an excellent opportunity in renewable energy for an Industrial Warehouse Coordinator position, located in Central California.
The Industrial Warehouse Coordinator reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for all warehouse procurement and inventory activity, as well as the operation of the maintenance management system inventory and procurement modules.
The Industrial Warehouse Coordinator is involved in performing difficult and complex services that require a high level of independent judgment, initiative, and discretion.
The Industrial Warehouse Coordinator performance metrics are measured through achieving goals while adhering to client policies, procedures, and practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the plant by maintaining that usable parts and materials are on site.
Procure spare parts and materials for stock and non-stock inventory and when needed, expedite to site.
Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable supplier.
Ensure warehouse maintains adequate spares and consumable parts inventory.
Professionally represent site while interacting with equipment vendors, parts suppliers and contractors delivering material to the plant.
Prepare spaces and areas to store all items of all sizes, shapes, and weights.
Verify that storage and maintenance of materials & equipment is according to the site procedures and vendor recommendations.
Regularly perform warehouse asset inventory.
Prepare periodic warehouse progress reports for management review.
Maintains warehouse in a safe and efficient manner.
Coordinate the safe unloading of all inbound freight.
Efficiently set up and maintain an inventory location system to retrieve items upon demand.
Generate reports on inventory quantity and value, broken down by part number and location.
Assists in other plant activities when needed, including maintenance assistance during overhauls.
Job Requirements:
Demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of warehousing, from receiving material and equipment to when it is checked out of the warehouse.
Working knowledge of contract terms and conditions and also capable of administering supplier contracts.
Prior technical knowledge of power plant equipment, purchasing and inventory control.
Strong communication skills both oral and written to internal and external audiences.
Proven ability to develop effective working relationships.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple activities at once.
Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel; familiarity with email and knowledge of logistic type warehousing inventory systems.
Proven ability to take tasks, assignments, and projects from inception to completion without significant supervision.
Ability to function within a matrix organization where functional and business leaders have equal authority and employees report to both a functional leader and a business leader.
Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with both a functional and business leader, aligning on employee issues and decisions (including performance management, compensation, and development).
Physical Requirements:
Duties require walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time, climbing vertical and inclined ladders and stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to use protective equipment correctly such as hard hats, safety glasses, ear protection, safety shoes, gloves, and vests as required.
Education /
Experience:
High School Diploma/GED required and 4
years of relevant professional experience with large industrial sites and/or power plants, warehouse activities and power plant procurement.
OR Associate degree or industry-recognized certificate from trade school in a related discipline and 3
years of relevant professional experience with large industrial sites and/or power plants, warehouse activities and power plant procurement.
OR Bachelor degree in a related discipline and 2
years of relevant professional experience with large industrial sites and/or power plants, warehouse activities and power plant procurement.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $34-$40 Hourly.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
