Bear Mountain RV Park Bear Mountain RV Park Bakersfield, CA Bakersfield, CA Part-time Part-time $16 - $20 an hour $16 - $20 an hour REPORTS TO Operations Manager and/or Owner(s) POSITION SUMMARY ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - Responsible for the daily planning, management, and leadership role on the campground, including registration and other income items, all other outlets centers, physical plant, and related financial reporting, and other various duties assigned by the owner(s).
Responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the campground buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds.
SPECIFIC DUTIES Manage and maintain a qualified, friendly, and professional staff using proper personnel procedures for training, scheduling, and management of all employees to comply with the business needs.
Oversee the delivery of great guest service, by engaging and demonstrating a positive and friendly interaction with guests and team members throughout all areas of the campground.
Thank your staff, guests, and have fun with what you do Perform basic carpentry, gardening, mowing, electrical and plumbing repairs, and maintenance to campground buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds as directed by the Campground Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor, or the owner(s).
Manage and maintain the standards and cleanliness of the campground's physical plant to meet the needs of the guest and comply with company standards.
Ensure the integrity of the operation by maintaining tight control of transactions generated by the campground.
Implement daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs as instituted by the Operations Manager or the owner(s), including lawn mowing, weed eating, landscaping, garbage pick-up, and various other campground equipment upkeep.
Monitor the compliance to all campground policies, programs, and procedures, including safety requirements.

Demonstration of a positive attitude with guests, management, and team members.
Use of safe work practices for a secure work environment for staff and campground guests.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance Long periods of standing Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb Must be able to operate various loud and vibrating maintenance tools and equipment Requires the use of hands/fingers to handle or feel Able to travel by auto Able to work inside and outdoors frequently and in various climates Capable of moving safely over uneven terrain JOB QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent Hear and speak the English language fluently Excellent employee & customer relations skills & ability to manage confrontation Able to lead and serve as a role model Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment Strong decision making ability Ability to read and maintain a budget Motivated, goal-oriented and results-driven Basic facilities management abilities including safety issues, i.
