CUSTOMER ACCOUNT SPECIALIST

Primary Functions:
The Customer Account Specialist will be responsible for providing Customer Service assistance and guidance for their assigned siteCustomer Service department handles all customer requests, order entry, running daily reports and works very close with all departments to ensure all customer requests are handled in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to and may vary dependent on areas of operation:
Accuracy of all paperwork produced.
Follow all customer requirements.
Assist supervision/management as needed.
Filing.
Answer door, phone calls, and shipping office windows.
Follow company policies, guidelines and work instructions.
Warehouse work as needed (labeling, re-boxing, etc.
) All CSR will be expected to cross train other CSR positions.
Maintain professional relationship with the carriers, customers and team members.
Cross training for shipping office for Saturday rotationThe Job Specifics:
Processing cross docks.
Holding product and dealing with customer rush shipments.
Verifying inventory.
Research OS&D's, create reports, complete cut logs, perform adjustments and report turn times.
Posting inbound and outbound orders.
Inputting orders on time to be shipped on pools.
Researching customer requests.
Ensuring electronic transactions are successful.

Education oHigh School Degree requiredExperienceo1 to 3 years preferred.
oExcellent communication skills, written and oraloPC, leadership and planning skills helpful.
oExperience in AS400, SAP, Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
oExperience with warehouse paperwork preferred.
