Responsibilities Review project specifications and drawings.
Generate accurate takeoffs using Autobid Mechanical.
Thorough knowledge of Plumbing and Pipefitting systems is required.
Prepare and price change orders.
Manage bid invitations.
Prepare plumbing budgets.
Manage multiple bids at the same time.
Send bid invitations to vendors and subcontractors.
Review vendor and subcontractor bids for accuracy and completeness.
Assemble full estimate for review by chief estimator.
Write proposal letters.
Offer value engineering ideas.
Education High School Diploma (or equivalent) Autobid Mechanical Certified (A Plus) Qualifications 5
years of commercial mechanical estimating experience (plumbing and pipefitting).
Great verbal and written communication skills.
