Cath Lab Travel RN
Must have experience in preparing patients for catheterization, angioplasty and pacemaker implantations.
Prepare for operations, which may include sterilizing the space and preparing the patient at the catheter insertion site.
Conduct and properly document comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments and tests.
Monitor patient s vitals and sedation; report adverse reactions in a timely manner.
Educate patient and family on discharge information, including care.
Participate in the execution and implementation of patient care plan; review and revise plan according to any changes in patient status.
Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
Availability to work the facility s required schedule.
Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
Also referred to as: cardiac cath lab registered nurse, cardiac catheter lab nurse
Job Requirements:
2 years of experience as a Cath Lab nurse
Graduate from an accredited nursing school
Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
