Financial Counselor - MedCath Corp (Bakersfield, CA)
Position
Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for verification of insurance on all inpatient and outpatient cases scheduled to enter the facility.
This position is also responsible for in-house collections, AHCCCS eligibility follow-up, walk-ins, customer service phone calls from doctor's offices, and serving as a back-up to registration department.
This position will work closely with the Case Management Team, Lead Registration Specialist, and the Business Office.
