HVAC Service Technician
Total Environmental & Power Systems (TEPS) has an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, problem solving, forward thinking professional. Is that you?
Full-time HVAC Service Technician are being hired in the following areas; Bakersfield, to install, replace, maintain and repair HVAC and steam distribution equipment and systems.
Successful candidates will have no less than one full year of hands on experience, the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain HVAC equipment. Has current knowledge of HVAC code regulations and industry standards. Has good analytical skills and attention to details with the ability to read diagrams and identify various components. Has the ability to work independently in a timely fashion. Is reliable, dependable, has a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
o Maintaining HVAC units by cleaning, testing and replacing as necessary unit contactors; coils, fans; compressor, condensers, etc.
o Perform installations, preventative maintenance and service to HVAC units.
o Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gather and analyzes information skillfully; and develop alternative solutions.
o Preparation of daily time journals, service reports. Complies, Stores and retrieves service data.
o Verify material and equipment deliveries, generate and control stock of material for each service call.
o Operate variety of equipment as needed to perform work.
o Efficient use of a variety of hand tools.
