Live On Site RV Park Facility and Grounds Maintenance
Bakersfield River Run RV Park is looking for a responsible, self motivated individual to be responsible for the facility and grounds maintenance for the park. This person will be responsible maintaining the overall look and feel of the park.
Starting pay is $12/hr.
Prefer someone who owns an RV.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. This list of duties and responsibilities are not listed by importance. Other duties may be assigned.
Assisting staff and/or guests with any after hours emergencies.
Responsible for opening clubhouse and pool each morning. Cleans pool area and test and adjust pool chemicals at scheduled time.
Sweeps public areas as needed.
Cleans RV park spaces. Sweeps gravel from street, rakes gravel on spaces which need it, and cleans up pet messes and trash from each space.
Checks for any graffiti and removes immediately.
Tours grounds to remove trash and notes problems.
Performs exterior maintenance, if necessary.
Walks property and looks for possible Title 25 violations at least once a week.
Checks all street lights, signs, etc.
Reports any rule/standard violations on individual spaces to Manager.
Assist landscaper with pruning shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs.
Sprays lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides. Rakes and bags or mulches leaves.
Maintains Irrigation System.
Cleans grounds and removes litter.
Plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs.
Repairs fences, gates, walls, and walks.
Replaces light bulbs.
Sets up tables and chairs in recreation room.
Notifies manager concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment or other problems observed.
Posts signs, as directed.
Follows all safety policies and procedures.
Cleans out gutters.
Makes minor repairs on equipment.
Assists Supervisor with the development and implementation of a long-term, campground landscape plan.
Follows all safety procedures of tools and equipment, and chemicals.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
