Providing Health Care for Veterans afflicted by Mental Illness possibly in more than one location. Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Participating as Provider in Programs for Primary Care Mental Health Integration. Veterans with Chronic / Serious Mental illness. Provide Tele Mental Health. Intensive outpatient/day/ partial hospital programs. Substance use disorders/Suboxone prescribing will be preferred but not necessary. General Mental Health. Temporary assignments to Community Based Outpatient Clinics within the GLA Mental Health Care Line. Teaching medical students, interns and residents in Psychiatry Participating in Process Improvement/Quality Assurance projects and other administrative duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned by the Department Chief or Chief of Staff. Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP):
Authorized This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan reimbursement program within VHA. If selected for this position you must meet specific individual eligibility criteria in accordance with VHA policy 1021 and apply for EDRP within four (4) months of appointment. Final award amount and program start date is determined after review of a complete EDRP application and supporting documentation by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services office. United States Citizenship:
Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Completion of residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. Typically, the employee sits comfortably indoors to do the work. This position requires potentially long periods of continued walking; standing; sitting, bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
