We have a room for rent in a 3 bed 2 bath house in a quiet neighborhood in southwest Bakersfield. The bedroom is unfurnished. You would have a shared bathroom with 1 other housemate. Rent is $500 a month. Utilities aren't included in rent, but range from $90-200 a month per person depending on the season. I keep a running spreadsheet if you'd like to see costs from past months. Street or driveway parking. All major appliances (including washer/dryer) and living room/dining room furniture pictured are already in the house. We also have a small yard. Current roomie will be moving out Dec 1st. We are both female and in our mid/late 20s. One of the roommates works in the healthcare field, and the other is a teacher. We are friendly and like to hang out, but are also introverted and enjoy our quiet spaces. Both non-smokers. No pets. Lease is active until May. We do plan to renew the lease in May if you're interested. Must have no prior evictions or any past-due bills sent to collections. Proof of income may be required.
